Product description

Fine pink eco cosmetic glitter represents an effectively sparkling material intended for decorative and surface finishing of products, packaging and gift boxes. Thanks to a specially selected composition, it is suitable for use in contact with cosmetic formulations, where it gives the final product an attractive appearance without significantly affecting its texture. The fine fraction of the glitter allows its uniform dispersion in the carrier, so it is ideal for application on the surface of packaging, labels or decorative elements when packing cosmetics and gift sets.

These fine eco cosmetic glitter are suitable for decorating packaging for both powder and liquid products – from creams, gels, balms, serums to decorative cosmetics. Thanks to the delicate pink shade and uniform granulation, they mix well into both transparent and coloured bases and make it possible to create a visually consistent packaging design. When used correctly in combination with a suitable adhesive, carrier or surface treatment, they provide long-lasting adhesion on bottles, jars, pots or other packaging components.

Possibilities of use

  • Aesthetic decoration of the surface of cosmetic packaging – for example bottles, jars, pots and gift packaging.
  • Visual highlighting of decorative cosmetics – glitter suitable for packaging ranges for make-up, body and hair products.
  • Decorating packaging for facial serums, facial oils and aromatherapeutic blends in order to differentiate product lines.
  • Creating thematic or seasonal packaging designs (Christmas, wedding, Valentine’s collections and limited editions).
  • Decorative elements on labels, closures and secondary packaging, where the glitter is used as a complement to print or embossing.

Packaging advantages

  • High visual attractiveness – the delicate pink colour and uniform sparkling effect increase the perceived value of the packaged product and support the premium appearance of the packaging.
  • Fine glitter fraction – the small particle size allows uniform distribution in the carrier and a smooth surface without pronounced graininess.
  • Good adhesion with correct application – when using a suitable adhesive or binder, the glitter is reliably fixed to the surface of bottles, jars and other containers.
  • Universal use in cosmetics – can be used for creating decorative packaging, gift sets as well as for visually differentiating product ranges.
  • Support of unified branding – the same eco glitter can be applied to different types of packaging (bottles, vials, pots) within a single product line.

Combining with closures and dispensers

When decorating packaging using eco glitter, it is possible to apply it not only to the body of the bottle or jar, but also to closures, pumps, sprays or applicators, provided that the material used and the surface treatment allow it. Bottles, vials and jars available on Handymade.sk are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing (for example screw caps, droppers, sprays or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially if the glitter is used as a surface treatment near the thread or sealing surface.

Technical parameters

All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best way to apply eco glitter to bottles, jars or other packaging material?

Eco glitter should be applied to a clean, degreased and dry surface of the packaging using a suitable binder – this may be a transparent adhesive, varnish or a special coating intended for the given type of material. A thin and even layer of binder is recommended, into which the glitter is gently sprinkled or worked in with a brush. After drying, it is advisable to remove excess glitter from the packaging by gently blowing it off or using a brush. When applying near the neck or thread, care must be taken that the layer of glitter does not affect the sealing of the closure or the functionality of the dispenser.

Are cosmetic eco glitter suitable for decorating packaging for liquid as well as powder products?

Yes, eco glitter is suitable for decorating packaging intended for liquid and powder cosmetic products. For bottles with a pump, dropper or spray, it is recommended to apply the glitter to the body of the packaging or the decorative part of the closure, not to the functional parts of the dispensing mechanism. For jars and pots, it is possible to decorate the side walls and the lid, while it is important to keep the sealing surface clean to ensure proper closing and protection of the contents.

Can I reuse packaging decorated with eco glitter?

Packaging decorated with eco glitter can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, provided that it is not mechanically damaged and the decoration remains stable. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example with isopropyl alcohol IPA 99% or ethanol 96% denatured of plant origin. Disinfection helps minimise the microbiological risk during repeated filling, and it is also advisable to test the stability of the glitter layer with respect to the selected cleaning and disinfection procedure.

How to safely dispose of or recycle the packaging after using eco glitter?

If you decide not to use the packaging with applied eco glitter any further, its recycling is recommended according to the material specified in the parameters of the particular packaging on Handymade.sk. The packaging material (for example plastic, glass or metal) determines the way of sorting into the appropriate container. Before placing it in sorted waste, it is advisable to empty the packaging and remove as much product residue as possible. The glitter itself is in most cases not removed from the surface of the packaging; during recycling it is treated as part of the given packaging material according to local waste management regulations.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

To select a suitable bottle, jar, pot or other packaging, you can use the advanced filter, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter, it is possible to combine several criteria at once – for example the type and size of the neck, overall size of the packaging, colour and material. In this way, you can easily narrow down the offer only to packaging that meets your technological and design requirements and can then be effectively decorated using eco glitter.
