Question 1

Which glass bottle volume should I choose?

Accepted Answer

For samples and essential oil blends, 5 to 10 ml bottles are the usual choice, for facial serums 15 to 30 ml and for body or massage oils 50 to 100 ml. Larger batches are covered by bottles with a DIN28 thread, from 50 ml to 1 l.

Question 2

What do the 18 mm and 28 mm markings in a bottle name mean?

Accepted Answer

They refer to the diameter of the neck, but compatibility is decided by the complete thread code — for example 18/410 or 28/410. The codes of the bottle and of the closure have to match in full, not only in diameter; to be sure, check the list of compatible caps that the site shows on the detail page of every bottle.

Question 3

Do you also sell glass bottles without a cap?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the bottles-only sub-category holds 96 items with no closure — individually as well as on trays, for example a 5 ml bottle on a tray of 255. You buy the closure separately according to the thread given in the name.

Question 4

Which colours of glass do the bottles come in?

Accepted Answer

In clear, white, milky, amber, blue, green and glossy black glass; part of the range comes in a square shape (45 ml and 90 ml). The exact choice of colours differs by volume — see the volume sub-categories for an overview.
