Glycerine liquid dyes

The Classic range contains 45 glycerine dyes in 15 shades — beyond the basic colours also white, black, chocolate, nude, carmine, coral, raspberry and magenta. Every shade is available in 10, 50 and 100 ml packs.

They do best in glycerine soaps and transparent soap bases, where they give even colouring without clots; you can also use them in shampoos, shower gels and bath salts — they are compatible with most surfactant systems and do not affect pH. Dose at 0.1–1% of the product's weight and add the dye gradually; all shades are mutually miscible, and white lightens colours into pastel tones.

Glycerine dyes do not belong in cold process soaps — in an alkaline environment they can shift shade or fade; for the cold process choose powder colourants.
