Shampoo bars are an increasingly popular alternative to conventional liquid shampoo (in Slovakia they are also known by the nickname “šampúch”). Because a shampoo bar contains no water, it does not need any chemical preservatives either. You will not find silicones, parabens or artificial fragrances in it.
So what does it actually contain?
The MusK shampoo bar is based on mild surfactants made from coconut oil (so it is not a soap-based shampoo). Their job is to cleanse the hair, and they are also what creates the wonderfully gentle, rich lather on your hair. As well as being gently cleansed, the hair is also strengthened and nourished. This is thanks to the floral and herbal waters, herbal extracts, butters, oils and active ingredients it contains. Carefully selected essential oils also have a caring and aromatherapeutic effect.
How do you use a shampoo bar?
Its shape fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. Simply rub it over wet hair a few times, massage it in with your fingers and rinse with clean water. There is no need to follow up with a vinegar or lemon rinse.
Thanks to its shape and size, it is a great companion for travelling. If you take it with you, you can put it in a portable aluminium case or wrap it some other way. Feel free to use it to wash your whole body as well – if needed, it will even gently wash laundry.
It feels right at home on a soap dish next to your MusK soap, or on any other firm, dry surface.
The shampoo comes in a beautiful box made of recycled paper. How long it lasts depends on the length of your hair, how often you use it and how much you apply. Either way, it is a faithful companion and can last you as long as 2–3 months.
The weight of the shampoo is 80 g ± 5%.
The shampoo is also suitable for vegans.
