A shampoo bar is an increasingly popular alternative to traditional liquid shampoo (in Slovakia it is also known by the nickname šampúch). Because it contains no water, it does not need any chemical preservatives either. You will not find silicones, parabens or artificial fragrances in it.
So what does it actually contain?
The MusK shampoo bar is based on mild surfactants made from coconut oil (so it is not a soap-based shampoo). Their job is to cleanse the hair, and they are also responsible for the wonderfully soft, rich lather they create on the hair. As well as being gently cleansed, the hair is also strengthened and nourished. This is thanks to the floral and herbal waters, herbal extracts, butters, oils and active ingredients it contains. Carefully chosen essential oils also provide conditioning and aromatherapeutic benefits.
How do you use a shampoo bar?
Its shape fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. Simply rub it over wet hair a few times, massage it in with your fingers and rinse with clean water. After using it, there is no need to rinse your hair with vinegar or lemon water.
Thanks to its shape and size, it is a great companion for travelling. If you take it with you, you can put it in a portable aluminium box or wrap it in some other way. Do not be afraid to use it to cleanse your whole body too – if needed, it can even be used to gently wash laundry.
It feels right at home on a soap dish next to your MusK soap, or on another firm, dry surface.
The shampoo is packed in a beautiful box made of recycled paper. How long it lasts depends on the length of your hair, how often you use it and how much you apply. Shampoo bars are, however, loyal companions – one bar can last you as long as 2–3 months.
The weight of the shampoo is 80 g ± 5%.
The shampoo is also suitable for vegans.
