White Plastic Bottle, Black Spray, Matte Silver Collar, Smoky Overcap, 100 ml

This set consisting of a white 100 ml PET bottle with a black mini trigger sprayer and a matte silver collar is designed for liquid cosmetic products that are applied by spraying. The sprayer disperses thin water-based solutions into a fine mist, so it is suitable for facial toners, hydrosols, hair sprays, refreshing body sprays and water-based solutions of active ingredients. The bottle is opaque, hides the contents and lets through less light than clear plastic. Both components are declared suitable for contact with cosmetics.

How the set works

The bottle has a 24/410 neck finish and the sprayer has the same thread, so it screws on without an adapter and fits tightly. One press releases approximately 0.12 ml of liquid, which is enough to cover the face or a lock of hair evenly without dripping. The dip tube reaches the bottom, so the bottle can be emptied almost completely.

The black head with a matte silver collar looks clean and simple on the white bottle. The sprayer is made of PP plastic and aluminium, the bottle of PET. It is lightweight and, unlike glass, it will not break if dropped on a bathroom tile floor.

What it is suitable for

• Facial toners and hydrosols – thin water-based solutions are dispersed into a fine mist by the mini trigger sprayer and applied without a cotton pad.
• Hair sprays – detangling or refreshing solutions and leave-in water-based sprays that should stay liquid.
• Body and room sprays – refreshing and deodorising sprays with a water or alcohol base, fragrance sprays for textiles.
• Solutions of active ingredients – light water-based serums without a thickener, dispensed by spraying directly onto the skin.

The mini trigger sprayer is designed for liquids with a viscosity close to water. Thick gels, oils and emulsions with a creamy consistency will not pass through the nozzle or will spatter in drops. For these, it is better to choose a bottle with a pump or a cap.

Nominal volume and filling

The nominal volume is the volume the bottle is designed for under normal filling. The total volume up to the rim of the neck is larger. The difference provides a reserve for the sprayer tube and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled up to the nominal 100 ml, not to the brim. If it is filled up to the neck, the contents are pushed out when the sprayer is screwed on and the packaging may leak on the first press.

Good to know

Before the first filling, wash the bottle and the sprayer, disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and let them dry completely. Rinse the sprayer by pouring alcohol into the bottle and pressing the head several times. The set can be used repeatedly. When changing the contents, rinse the sprayer with clean water and let it dry so that no residues of the previous product remain in the tube.

Common fillings are water-based and alcohol-based solutions used in cosmetics. For sprays with a high proportion of essential oils, fragrance compositions or other solvents, we recommend first testing how the packaging behaves with your specific formulation on a single piece and checking for tightness, cloudiness or softening of the wall. Do not expose the packaging to aggressive chemicals.

The white bottle on its own has a certificate for direct food contact. The sprayer does not have such a certificate, so the set as a whole is intended for cosmetics and must not be used for food.

The bottle is made of PET with material code 1 and belongs in sorted plastic waste. Unscrew the sprayer before disposal, as it contains plastic and aluminium and does not belong in PET collection.
