A wooden wick with a metal stand is a kit for making container candles that crackle gently while burning. The wick belongs to the crackling series and consists of a single wooden strip. The round metal stand holds it perpendicular to the bottom of the container.

The kit is intended for makers who want to give their candle an acoustic and visual character that a cotton wick cannot achieve. The wick and stand are supplied together, so the strip simply needs to be placed and the candle poured.
