The 200 ml aluminium bottle with a matte black mini trigger sprayer is a complete packaging solution for toners, hydrosols, refreshing face and body sprays, hair sprays, or room and textile fragrances. Aluminium does not let light through, so contents sensitive to UV radiation stay protected wherever the bottle is kept. The bottle is lightweight and does not break if dropped, which you will appreciate when travelling, in the bathroom, and when selling your own products. The set is declared suitable for contact with cosmetics.

The sprayer with a 24/410 neck finish has a smooth collar without ribbing and a matte black finish that looks uniform and understated on silver aluminium. When pressed, it produces a fine mist, so the contents are dispersed evenly over a larger area.

What the set is suitable for

• Toners and hydrosols – low-viscosity aqueous solutions pass through the sprayer without any problems, and the aluminium protects them from light.
• Refreshing and setting sprays – the mist is applied directly to the face or over make-up without touching it with your hands.
• Hair sprays – aqueous or lightly alcohol-based products for detangling, shine, or refreshing a hairstyle.
• Room and textile fragrances – alcohol-based spray compositions that are not affected by opaque packaging and benefit from protection against light.
• Deodorant sprays – low-viscosity liquid water-alcohol formulations.

The mini trigger sprayer is designed for thin liquids. Oils, thick serums, or emulsions either cannot be dispersed with it or come out of the nozzle as drops, so we do not recommend this set for them.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume is the amount the bottle is designed to hold when filled normally. The total volume to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck, and you will find it in the parameters. The difference between the two provides a reserve for the sprayer’s dip tube and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. Fill the bottle to the nominal volume, not to the brim, otherwise the contents will be pushed out when you screw on the sprayer.

Good to know

Before the first filling, wash the bottle and the sprayer, disinfect the inside with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and let it dry completely so that residual water does not get into the product.

Aluminium is opaque, so you cannot see how much of the contents is left. You can estimate the amount from the weight of the bottle.

We recommend checking the compatibility of aluminium with your specific formulation, especially for aqueous recipes with a markedly acidic or alkaline pH and for those containing salts. A sprayer made of polypropylene may change its properties during long-term contact with a higher concentration of essential oils or solvents, so here too, test it in your actual formulation before larger-scale production.

After thorough washing and disinfection, the bottle can be reused. When disposing of it, separate the plastic sprayer from the aluminium bottle. Store the sprayer in a dry and clean environment so that dust does not get into the mechanism.
