Product description
Aluminium bottle with black sprayer 200 ml
Aluminium bottle 200 ml with black sprayer is a complete set for tonics, hydrolats and mists that protects the contents from light and will not break. The bottle with a nominal volume of 200 ml and a mechanical sprayer with a black head and gold glossy ring are ready for immediate filling. The set is particularly suitable for thin, aqueous and alcoholic contents to be dispensed as a fine mist: hydrolats, facial and hair tonics, refreshing body mists, spray deodorants, perfume waters or room and fabric sprays.
The black sprayer with gold ring gives the packaging a consistent look that works well for products intended for sale as well as for gifting. Both the bottle and the sprayer are declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products; the set is intended for cosmetics.
Why choose aluminium with a sprayer
- Light protection – aluminium blocks light completely, which helps protect sensitive ingredients such as hydrolats, plant extracts or fragrance compositions from changes in scent and colour.
- Low weight and durability – the bottle will not break when dropped, making it suitable for the bathroom, handbag, travel and salon use where packaging is handled frequently.
- Fine mist – the mechanical sprayer disperses a thin liquid into a fine mist that applies evenly to skin, hair or fabric without running.
- Precise dosing – each press releases approximately 0.12 ml, which makes it easier to use tonics and mists economically.
- Cohesive design – the silver bottle, black head and gold ring form a combination that requires no additional closures.
Nominal and total volume
For every container we distinguish two volumes. Nominal volume is the volume for which the container is designed for standard filling, and this is the figure stated in the name. Total brim-full volume is the physical capacity up to the neck and is always slightly larger. The difference between them provides clearance for the dip tube and the sprayer mechanism, which takes up some space once screwed on, and for expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. Precise values for both volumes are given in the product parameters.
If you fill the bottle right to the neck, the contents will overflow once the sprayer is screwed on. Leave clearance for the mechanism and push the dip tube in so that it reaches the bottom.
Which contents are suitable and which are not
The mechanical sprayer works reliably with low-viscosity liquids: aqueous solutions, hydrolats, tonics, light mists with solubilised oils, alcoholic solutions and perfume waters. Thicker preparations, emulsions of cream consistency and pure vegetable oils spray poorly. The mechanism may clog or simply eject the liquid in a stream. For such contents we recommend choosing a pump or another type of closure.
With aqueous contents at significantly acidic or alkaline pH and at high concentrations of essential oils, it is advisable to verify the container's behaviour with the finished formulation — both compatibility with aluminium and with the plastic parts of the sprayer. It is sufficient to fill one unit and monitor the scent, colour, seal integrity and sprayer function for several weeks.
Before filling an entire batch, always test the specific formulation in a single set. Neither aluminium nor the plastic of the sprayer is suitable for every mixture, and it is worth verifying the seal integrity with alcoholic contents in advance.
Good to know
- Preparation before first filling – rinse the bottle and sprayer, optionally disinfect with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow to dry completely. Residual water would dilute the contents and shorten their stability.
- Filling – fill the contents after they have cooled to room temperature, not while hot. The sprayer is not intended for hot liquids.
- Dip tube – if it is longer than needed, trim it with an angled cut so that it reaches the bottom without bending. The angled cut prevents it from sealing against the bottom.
- First use – after screwing on the sprayer, press it several times until the dip tube and mechanism fill with liquid.
- Repeated use – the set is suitable for repeated filling. The condition is thorough washing of the bottle and rinsing the sprayer with clean water to remove any residue of the previous contents.
- Closures – the bottle has a 24/410 neck. Other closures with the same neck type as well as ready-made container + closure combinations are available in the Handymade range. With a custom combination, we recommend verifying the seal, dosing and container behaviour with the specific formulation.
- Recycling – the bottle is made of aluminium, which can be fully recycled. The sprayer combines plastic and an aluminium ring, so separate it from the bottle before recycling.
Suitable for products such as
- Hydrolats and facial tonics – the opaque packaging helps maintain the scent and stability of botanical waters.
- Hair mists and tonics – the fine mist distributes evenly through the lengths without over-wetting.
- Spray deodorants – aqueous or alcoholic formulations with low viscosity.
- Refreshing body and facial mists – for topping up hydration during the day and while travelling.
- Perfume waters – alcoholic compositions to be applied as a fine mist.
- Room and fabric sprays – fragrance sprays for textiles and interiors.
