Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of your formulation.

How should the bottle be properly cleaned and disinfected before reuse?

After the contents have been used up, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with warm water and detergent, rinsing it thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry. Then disinfect the inner space and neck of the packaging with alcohol, for example with the preparations IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After the alcohol has evaporated, the bottle can be filled again with a suitable product.

Is this plastic packaging suitable for a dishwasher or for boiling?

Plastic packaging, especially if made from PET-type material, should not be exposed to high temperatures. There is a risk of deformation of the packaging, deterioration of the closure sealing and thus a reduction in the functionality of the entire pack. Therefore, do not wash the bottle in a dishwasher and do not boil it. For cleaning and disinfection, rather use lukewarm water with detergent and subsequent disinfection with alcohol.

How can this bottle be disposed of or recycled in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer plan to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material designation indicated in the product parameters. Before placing it in sorted waste, empty the packaging and, if necessary, rinse off any product residues. Then dispose of it in the container designated for the relevant type of plastic according to local waste-sorting rules. In this way, you support efficient processing of the material and a reduction in the amount of mixed waste.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

Is the disc top closure also suitable for thicker products such as emulsions and gels?

The disc top closure is designed primarily for liquid to medium-viscosity formulations. With thinner shampoos, shower gels or lighter emulsions, it ensures convenient dosing and good control over the amount of product dispensed. With very thick creams or butters, dispensing may be limited, so in such cases it is advisable to consider packaging with a pump or another type of dispenser available in the Handymade range.
