Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the bottle and the spray part in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and any impact on the stability of the new formulation. For disinfection it is suitable to use, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the range as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After treatment, all parts must be allowed to dry completely, and only then should they be filled with a new product.

This type of plastic material should not be exposed to high temperatures. When washing in a dishwasher or boiling, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and a reduction in the service life of the spray mechanism. We recommend gentle manual cleaning with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent, followed by disinfection with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. Such a procedure helps maintain both the functionality and the appearance of the bottle with repeated use.

Before filling, make sure that the bottle is clean and dry. Fill it slowly so that an excessive amount of bubbles does not form in the liquid, as these can temporarily affect the operation of the pump. After filling, screw the sprayer on tightly, keep the dip tube in the centre of the bottom of the bottle and press several times before first use until the system is filled. Avoid mixtures that are too thick or highly viscous, as they may impair spraying or cause nozzle blockage.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in sorted waste, empty the bottle and, if possible, rinse out any remaining contents. Then place the packaging in the appropriate container according to the material designation on the label or in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. The spray head should preferably be separated and disposed of according to the instructions of the local waste sorting system. By following these steps, you will contribute to effective recycling and to reducing the amount of waste.
