The plastic bottle with disc-top closure represents a practical and reliable packaging for liquid cosmetic formulations such as gels, shampoos, soaps or facial toners. Thanks to its shape and durable material, the bottle is suitable for filling products that require convenient and controlled application by pressing the upper part of the closure. The disc closure enables hygienic dispensing without the need for complete unscrewing, which reduces the risk of contamination of the contents and unwanted leakage.
The packaging is designed to be stable during storage as well as frequent use, while also being ergonomic to handle in the bathroom, in a salon or when travelling. The material of the bottle is particularly suitable for liquid and gel products that need protection from external influences and practical dispensing directly from the packaging. PET plastic should not be exposed to high temperatures – in case of excessive heating, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging, therefore the bottle must not be washed in a dishwasher or boiled.
This bottle is supplied directly with a practical disc-top closure that ensures convenient opening and dispensing of the contents. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the selected packaging is fully suitable for your specific product.

The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After thorough drying, you can safely fill the packaging again with a new formulation.
Since the packaging is made of PET plastic, it should not be exposed to high temperatures. We do not recommend washing it in a dishwasher or boiling it, because at elevated temperatures the bottle may deform or its mechanical properties may change. Hand washing with lukewarm water and a mild detergent is recommended, followed by thorough rinsing and subsequent disinfection with a suitable alcohol-based product before further use.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it into sorted collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. In most municipalities, PET bottles are sorted into the container designated for plastics. Before putting it into collection, it is advisable to empty the packaging, remove any product residues and, according to local rules, either leave the closure on or separate it. By following these principles, you support the recycling process and reduce the amount of waste.
The disc-top closure is especially practical for liquid and gel preparations that need to be dispensed in smaller amounts – for example shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, liquid soaps, body milks or cleansing solutions. The opening is easily activated by pressing the upper part of the closure, which facilitates one-handed use and at the same time helps to prevent excessive outflow of the contents.

Yes, thanks to its practical shape and low weight, the packaging is also suitable for smaller or travel sizes of products that you want to have with you on holiday, on a business trip or as test samples for customers. The disc-top closure allows convenient dispensing and at the same time reduces the risk of accidental opening in luggage during normal handling.
