A brown plastic bottle with a capacity of 150 ml and a disc top closure is a ready-to-use combination of container and cap for liquid and semi-liquid cosmetic products dispensed with one hand. The brown colouring reduces light transmission, providing better protection for light-sensitive contents such as products with vegetable oils, extracts or essential oils. The PET bottle is lightweight and shatter-resistant, making it suitable for the bathroom, shower and travel.

The cap in a matte rose-gold shade with a white centre creates a contrasting effect on the brown bottle, making the product stand out even with a simple label.

How the set works for dispensing

The disc top opens by pressing down on one side of the disc, which flips up a small-opening spout on the opposite side. Contents are dispensed by squeezing the bottle; after use, the disc is pressed back to close the opening. The cap remains screwed on at all times, so it cannot be lost and the container can be used with wet hands.

• Dispensing in small amounts – the narrow opening releases only as much product as is squeezed out, which is practical with shampoos, gels and oils.
• Flexible bottle wall – PET can be squeezed and springs back to its original shape, making it possible to dispense contents with a thicker consistency.
• Ready-to-use combination – the bottle and cap share the same neck type, so no matching is required.

Suitable products

The container is designed for products that flow or can be squeezed out: shampoos, shower gels, liquid soaps, conditioners, body lotions, lighter emulsions, facial, body and massage oils. Thick creams, butters and balms are difficult to dispense through the small opening and a large amount remains on the bottle walls. For these, a jar is more suitable.

Very thin, water-based contents such as tonics or hydrolates pour out of the disc top more quickly and are harder to measure. For these, a spray pump works better.

Nominal and total volume

Two volumes are stated for the container. The nominal volume is the amount the bottle is designed for under normal filling conditions. The total brim-full volume is the physical volume up to the neck. The difference between them provides a reserve for the closure and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. Specific values are listed in the product parameters.

Useful information

Before first filling, the bottle and cap are washed, disinfected with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and left to dry completely. Moisture residues in the container can reduce the microbiological stability of the product, particularly in anhydrous oil-based formulations.

Products with a high proportion of essential oils or solvents may affect the plastic. It is therefore advisable to carry out a compatibility test: leave the filled bottle to stand for several weeks and monitor the shape of the container, the seal of the closure and any changes in the scent or colour of the contents.

The set is suitable for contact with cosmetic products. It is not intended for food use.

The dimensions required for label design are listed in the parameters. The bottle is made of PET; the cap combines aluminium and plastic and should therefore be separated when sorting for recycling.
