Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

Yes, the packaging can be reused with proper handling and adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. This way you minimise the risk of microbial contamination and ensure the stability of your cosmetic products.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the bottle before further use?

First rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with detergent and rinse it thoroughly with clean water so that no residues of the cleaning agent remain inside. After the inner walls of the bottle have dried or drained, apply disinfection – most often isopropyl alcohol or ethanol is used in the recommended concentration. You can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely and only then refill it.

How can I safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. After emptying, it is advisable to rinse the bottle from residues of the contents, remove any label and separate the cap or dispensing component. Place the container itself as well as the closure into the appropriate sorted waste according to the material labelling (for example plastic). When recycling, follow local recommendations and the information in the parameter table so that the packaging is correctly classified and processed in the recycling system.

Is this plastic bottle suitable for the dishwasher or for boiling at high temperatures?

Plastic containers of this type are not intended for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling at high temperatures. Exposure to high temperatures may lead to their deformation, weakening of the walls or deterioration of the sealing properties of the closure. For cleaning, we recommend hand washing at moderate temperatures and subsequent disinfection with a suitable alcohol-based product, in order to preserve the integrity of the material and the functionality of the packaging during long-term use.
