Before each new filling, we recommend carefully washing the bottle and the dispensing part, rinsing them and then disinfecting them with a suitable preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or with denatured ethanol of plant origin. Only after complete drying is the packaging ready for refilling.

How should the dispensing pump be properly cleaned before further use?

We recommend first disassembling the dispensing pump into the accessible parts according to the possibilities of the specific mechanism and rinsing them with warm water and a mild detergent. It is then appropriate to pump a small amount of clean water through the internal system to remove residues of the original product. After washing, allow the parts to dry completely and disinfect the contact surfaces, ideally using alcohol-based preparations. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination during further use.

Is this type of packaging suitable for thicker creams as well, or only for more liquid emulsions?
