The plastic bottle with white disc top cap represents a practical and reliable packaging solution for various liquid and lightly gel-like formulations in cosmetics and homemade preparations. Thanks to its well-designed shape and functional closure, it enables convenient dispensing while minimizing the risk of accidental leakage of the contents during use as well as storage. This description refers to the combination of the bottle and the white disc top cap, which provides practical dispensing without the need to open the packaging completely. FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this bottle suitable for thicker products, for example light gels or emulsions?

The bottle with disc top cap is primarily intended for liquid and semi-liquid preparations with low to medium viscosity. Light gels or thin emulsions can be conveniently dispensed as long as they remain sufficiently fluid to flow smoothly when the packaging is gently squeezed. For thicker creams we recommend choosing a different type of dispensing (for example a pump or a jar) and always testing the real behaviour of the product in the chosen packaging before final filling.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly for different products?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are followed, but we always recommend paying attention to thorough cleaning between each filling. Before every new filling, the bottle and cap must be mechanically cleaned, well rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or 96 % denatured plant ethanol. Only after the surface and the inner space of the packaging are completely dry is the bottle ready for further safe use.

How should I clean the bottle correctly and what should I avoid during maintenance?

For cleaning, we recommend using warm water with a suitable mild cleaning agent, rinsing the bottle thoroughly and letting it dry naturally. Afterwards it is advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the cap using an alcohol-based disinfectant. The plastic material of this type is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures, therefore do not expose the packaging to boiling water, do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher, where it could become deformed or its sealing properties could deteriorate.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the bottle and cap any further, we recommend emptying them and removing product residues as far as possible before disposal. The subsequent method of recycling and assignment to a specific type of sorted waste must be adapted to the type of plastic stated in the parameter table for the product on Handymade. According to the material indicated there, choose the appropriate collection container for sorted waste in your municipality. If the local rules for sorting packaging plastics are not clear, it is advisable to check them with your local waste management operator so that the packaging is recycled as efficiently as possible.
