Clear Plastic Bottle, Black Spray With Glossy Gold Collar, 250 ml

A ready-made set for spray cosmetic products: a clear PET bottle with a volume of 250 ml and a black mini trigger sprayer with a glossy gold collar. The bottle is light and unbreakable, and the clear material lets you see the colour and the remaining contents. The sprayer disperses the liquid in a fine mist, so the set is particularly suitable for facial toners, hydrolates and hair sprays, body refreshers, spray deodorants and alcohol-based disinfectant preparations. The 250 ml volume corresponds to a standard size for a dressing table or bathroom.

What the set is suitable for

• Toners and hydrolates – thin water-based formulations pass through the sprayer without problems and the mist spreads evenly over the skin.
• Hair care sprays – low-viscosity leave-in conditioners, detangling sprays, sea salt sprays.
• Deodorants and body sprays – water-based and alcohol-based formulations applied over a larger area.
• Alcohol-based preparations – disinfectant sprays for hands or surfaces. With higher alcohol concentrations, we recommend checking how the seal behaves.
• Air fresheners and room sprays – fragrance sprays for interiors or textiles.

The sprayer works best with contents of low viscosity. Oils and thicker emulsions are dispersed unevenly or get caught in the nozzle. For such formulations, choose a different type of closure.

How the set works and how it dispenses

The sprayer screws onto the bottle’s 24/410 neck finish and the tube draws the contents from the bottom. One press releases a dose of approximately 0.12 ml, which corresponds to a standard fine spray when applying a toner or hair spray. Before first use, press the sprayer several times to prime it so that the tube fills. With thicker liquids, the mist is usually coarser and the dose may differ.

The bottle is filled up to its nominal volume of 250 ml. The total volume up to the neck is somewhat larger, and this difference serves as a reserve for the sprayer tube and the space above the liquid level. An overfilled bottle leaks through the thread after the sprayer is screwed on.

Good to know

Preparation before first filling. Wash the bottle and the sprayer before use, disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and let them dry completely. Proceed in the same way when refilling. Rinse the tube and the nozzle with clean water and let them dry, so that residues of the previous formulation do not spoil the new filling.

Light. A clear bottle does not protect the contents from light. Fill light-sensitive formulations, for example those with vitamin C, some plant extracts or essential oils, into dark packaging instead, or store the set away from direct sunlight.

Heat and chemical resistance. Do not fill PET with hot contents – let the formulation cool before filling. Concentrated essential oils, solvents or strongly alcohol-based formulations can damage the plastic, so test in advance that the bottle material and the sprayer seal remain intact.

Other closures. The set is supplied with a sprayer, but the bottle has a standard 24/410 (GL24) neck. If you make your own combination, check the tightness, the dispensing and the behaviour of the packaging with your specific formulation.

Recycling. The bottle is made of PET and belongs in plastic recycling. The sprayer contains plastic and aluminium, so unscrew it from the bottle before recycling and dispose of it separately.
