Thanks to its reliable construction and well-designed shape, the bottle is ideal for packaging preparations where a fine dose in the form of a mist or spray is important. The packaging can be used repeatedly provided that you follow basic hygiene principles and the suitability of the material for the given type of preparation. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the sprayer and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the stability of your final product.
Before repeated use, first rinse the packaging thoroughly with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent, then rinse it with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After thorough drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface of the bottle and the suction tube of the sprayer with an alcohol solution – for example with IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely and only then proceed to filling so as not to disrupt the consistency or stability of the formulation being prepared.

The sprayer is most suitable for low-viscosity, watery to slightly alcoholic solutions where fine mist spraying is required. It is ideally used for floral waters, toners, refreshing sprays, light hair sprays, disinfectant solutions or home fragrances. With thicker emulsions or oily blends, the spraying may be less even, which is why we recommend always testing the behaviour of the specific recipe on a smaller amount before the final filling of the entire batch.
If you decide not to use the bottle with sprayer any further, we recommend that after using up the contents you empty it as much as possible and remove any product residues. It is then advisable to disassemble the packaging into its individual parts (container body and sprayer mechanism) and follow the recommendations according to the material designation given in the product parameters on Handymade. The plastic bottle body is usually placed into the container intended for plastic waste separation, while the small mixed parts of the sprayer may, according to local rules, belong in mixed waste. We recommend checking the specific waste separation conditions in your municipality so that recycling is as effective as possible and in line with applicable legislation.
