Before each new filling, the bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the service life of your cosmetic products.

How should I correctly clean and disinfect the bottle before a new filling?

Before new use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinsing it thoroughly and letting it dry completely. Then treat the inner walls and the closure with disinfecting alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Allow the disinfectant to act and allow the remainder to evaporate in the air. Do not use boiling or dishwashing in a dishwasher so as not to damage the plastic material.

Is this plastic bottle suitable for the dishwasher or for boiling?

The plastic material of the packaging is not intended for exposure to high temperatures. When washing in a dishwasher or when boiling, there is a risk of deformation of the bottle and closure, which can negatively affect sealing and dosing functionality. Therefore, for cleaning use only hand washing in moderately warm water and disinfection with alcohol. This preserves shape stability and long-term usability of the packaging.

How can I safely recycle or dispose of this packaging if I no longer want to use it?
