The packaging can be used repeatedly, provided you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. In this way you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and prolong the lifetime of your cosmetic products.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the bottle before a new filling?

Before new use we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a mild cleansing agent, rinsing it thoroughly and letting it dry completely. Then treat the inner walls and the cap with disinfecting alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Allow the disinfectant to act and let the remainder evaporate in the air. Do not use boiling or dishwashing in a dishwasher in order to avoid damage to the plastic material.

Is this plastic bottle suitable for a dishwasher or for boiling?

The plastic material of the packaging is not intended for exposure to high temperatures. When washing in a dishwasher or when boiling, there is a risk of deformation of the bottle and the cap, which may negatively affect the sealing and the functionality of the dosing. For cleaning therefore use only manual washing in moderately warm water and disinfection with alcohol. In this way you will maintain shape stability and long-term usability of the packaging.

How can I safely recycle or dispose of this packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend first emptying it completely and removing product residues.
