Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

The bottle can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable disinfectant, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection we recommend the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol (ALK001) and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based (ALK002), which you can find on the pages IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol 1 l and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný 1 l. After disinfection, let the bottle and the closure dry completely and only then refill it.

How should I properly clean the plastic packaging before further use?

Before further use, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with a medium compatible with the residual product (for example with water or a suitable solvent according to the type of contents), then washing it with a mild detergent and warm water. After mechanical cleaning, it is important to disinfect the packaging – ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for technical and cosmetic use. For this step, you can use the products available at IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol 1 l and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný 1 l. After disinfection, let the bottle drain and dry completely so that no residual moisture remains inside.

Is the plastic bottle suitable for the dishwasher or for boiling?

Plastic packaging made of PET material is not suitable for exposure to high temperatures. Washing in a dishwasher or boiling may cause deformation of the packaging, changes in shape or deterioration of tightness. For this reason, we recommend washing the bottle by hand in moderately warm water with a mild detergent and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol solution. This procedure is gentle on the material and at the same time allows safe repeated use.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this bottle if I do not want to reuse it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic indicated in the product specifications and in the attached certificate. Before handing it over for sorted collection, empty the bottle, remove any residual contents and, if necessary, briefly rinse it. Then place it in the appropriate container for sorted waste according to local rules (usually plastic collection).
