Is it possible to use this plastic bottle repeatedly?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before every new filling, the bottle and the dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent (for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol). For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96 denatured from our range, which you will find in the category of raw materials for disinfection. After disinfection, let the packaging dry completely and only then fill it with a new product.

How to safely clean and disinfect the bottle before further use?

First rinse the bottle and the dispenser with warm water and a mild detergent to remove the residues of the original product. Then we recommend disinfecting the packaging with a suitable alcohol-based preparation. In the Handymade.sk offer you can use for this purpose isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99) or plant-based ethanol 96 denatured. After applying the disinfectant, let all parts of the packaging thoroughly evaporate and dry in a clean place to minimize the risk of microbial contamination of the next filling.

Is this plastic packaging suitable for a dishwasher or for boiling?

Plastic packaging of this type is not intended for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling at high temperatures. High temperature may lead to deformation of the bottle walls, damage to the dispenser and deterioration of sealing properties. For cleaning, therefore, use only hand washing in moderately warm water with a mild cleaning agent, followed by thorough rinsing and disinfection with alcohol. With this gentle procedure you will extend the service life of the packaging and maintain its functionality.

How to correctly store and use the plastic bottle during everyday use?

We recommend storing the bottle in a dry and clean environment, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Long-term exposure to higher temperatures can affect the shape of the plastic as well as the properties of the filled product. During everyday use, make sure that the dispenser remains clean, without dried residues of the formulation, which may affect dosing. If you are working with products containing a higher proportion of alcohol or active substances, always test compatibility in advance on a small sample to verify the behaviour of the packaging over time.

How can I dispose of the bottle in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer want to use it repeatedly?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. First remove product residues from the bottle, rinse it and, according to the material designation on the packaging, sort it into the appropriate container for plastic. The dispenser, which is often made from a combination of several plastic components, should ideally be disassembled into the smallest possible parts before sorting, if possible. By recycling you reduce the amount of waste and contribute to more efficient use of resources.
