The clear, tall plastic bottle with a disc top cap, 100 ml, is a complete set combining a lightweight and shatter-resistant PET container with a dispensing cap in a rose-gold matte finish. It is suitable for liquid and medium-viscosity cosmetic products applied directly from the bottle into the palm: shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, facial emulsions and cleansing gels. The 100 ml volume is practical for travel packaging, samples and small batches of own production.

The clear wall shows the colour and consistency of the contents, making it easy to see the fill level and how much remains. The cap opens and closes with a single press, making it comfortable to use even in the shower.

Which products is it suitable for

The disc top cap works best with liquid to medium-viscosity products that can be squeezed out of the bottle with light pressure on the walls: shower gels, shampoos, liquid body soaps, lighter body lotions, facial emulsions, cleansing gels and massage or body oils. A thick cream or balm is difficult to dispense through the opening and the squeezability of the PET wall is not sufficient for this. Very thin products such as tonics or face water flow freely when the bottle is tilted and are better dispensed with a spray pump or dropper.

The bottle is clear and does not filter light, making it suitable for products whose ingredients are not light-sensitive, or for those that are used up quickly. Formulations containing sensitive oils, vitamins or essential oils are better stored away from direct sunlight or in a darker container.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the volume for which the bottle is intended under standard filling conditions. Total volume to the brim is the physical capacity up to the neck and is always slightly larger. The difference provides headspace for the cap and for expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If overfilled, the product will be pushed into the disc opening when the cap is screwed on and will spill upon first opening.

What is good to know

Before the first fill, wash and sanitise both the bottle and the cap with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allow them to dry completely. Residual water would dilute the product and could compromise its microbiological stability.

PET tolerates both water-based and oil-based products, diluted alcohols and common cosmetic ingredients. Do not fill hot – allow warm emulsions and gels to cool before filling, otherwise the bottle wall may deform. For products with a high proportion of essential oils, concentrated fragrance compositions or solvents, we recommend verifying compatibility on a single unit and monitoring the bottle and cap for several weeks for any signs of cloudiness, softening or stickiness of the surface.

The container is suitable for repeated use if thoroughly cleaned. The disc top cap has an internal channel where product residue collects – when washing, flush it several times with warm water in both the open and closed position. Labels are applied to the flat part of the body; the exact dimensions for label design can be found in the product parameters.
