The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each filling, we recommend first rinsing the bottle mechanically, then thoroughly cleaning it with a suitable washing agent, rinsing with clean water and drying. After that, the packaging must be disinfected – you can use alcohol-based products, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find on Handymade. For example, the range includes IPA 99 % – isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After applying the disinfectant, allow the packaging to air out thoroughly and dry so that no alcohol residues remain inside, which could affect your final products.

For packaging made from PET material it is not suitable to fill them with hot or freshly cooked mixtures. High temperature can lead to softening and gradual deformation of the plastic, which will negatively affect the shape, stability and sealing of the cap. We recommend filling only completely cooled or room-temperature formulations. For the same reason, the packaging is not suitable for boiling or for dishwashing, where higher temperatures and intensive programmes are commonly used. For cleaning and disinfection, give preference to gentler manual procedures with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in the appropriate separated waste stream according to the material marking given in the product parameters. In the parameter table for the specific bottle, you will find the type of plastic and the corresponding recycling symbol, on the basis of which you can correctly dispose of it in the container intended for that specific type of plastic waste. Before recycling, empty the packaging, if necessary rinse out product residues, and where possible separate the different material parts (for example the plastic body and any closure of a different type). By recycling, you support the reprocessing of the used material and reduce the amount of waste.

The bottle with Disc Top cap is primarily intended for low- to medium-viscosity liquids that can be easily dispensed by gently squeezing the walls or tilting the container. For common toners, facial waters, water-based serums or light oil blends, this type of packaging is very practical. For significantly thick creamy formulations or gels, dispensing through the Disc Top may be less comfortable, so in such cases it is advisable to consider another type of container, for example a jar, pot or bottle with a pump. Before final stocking, we recommend trying a small test filling and verifying the dosing comfort with your specific formula.
