Amber Plastic Bottle, Golden Disc Top, 150 ml

Plastic bottle, amber, gold disc top, 150 ml combines an amber PET bottle with a disc top closure, so after filling it can be used straight away without unscrewing the cap. Amber PET dampens the light reaching the contents, is lightweight and does not break when dropped. The set is declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products.

The opening in the centre of the closure dispenses the contents when the bottle is squeezed, so the set is suitable for liquid to medium-thick products: shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, cleansing gels, or massage and hair oils. The 150 ml volume matches a common bathroom size, a smaller production run for the market, or a test batch of a new recipe. The gold aluminium shell of the cap with a clear centre gives the bottle the look of a finished product even without further decoration.

What the set is suitable for

• Rinse-off products – shower gel, liquid soap, shampoo or conditioner can be dispensed with one hand straight into the palm, and the cap does not need to be put down anywhere.
• Body lotions and light emulsions – contents that can be squeezed out of the bottle flow evenly through the opening, and once the disc is closed the bottle stays sealed.
• Massage and hair oils – the disc top dispenses them from single drops to a thin stream, while the amber wall of the bottle protects them from light.
• Smaller production runs and samples – customers use up 150 ml within a reasonable time, and the set is ready for filling without assembling any further parts.

How it dispenses and seals

The disc top opens by pressing one side of the disc, which lifts the other side and frees the opening. The product then comes out when the bottle is squeezed, and you control the amount by how hard you squeeze. It closes by pressing the disc back down flat. The disc has no removable part that could get lost or fall into the sink.

The cap has a 24/410 neck finish, the same as the bottle neck, and holds firmly once tightened. With the disc closed, the set is intended for normal use and standing in the bathroom. When transporting it in luggage or in a parcel, it is worth keeping the bottle upright and testing the seal with your specific formulation beforehand.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume of 150 ml is the amount the packaging is designed for under normal filling. The brimful volume given in the parameters is the physical volume of the bottle up to the neck. The difference provides a margin for the closure and for slight changes in the volume of the contents as the temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume. If it were filled to the brim, part of the contents would overflow through the neck when the cap is tightened.

Good to know

Before the first filling, we recommend washing both the bottle and the cap, disinfecting them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, and letting them dry completely. After it is emptied, the set can be washed and used again. When refilling, check that the disc still snaps in firmly and that the cap can be tightened without problems.

PET withstands common cosmetic formulations, including surfactant and emulsion bases. For contents with a higher proportion of essential oils, alcohol or organic solvents, we recommend verifying compatibility on a single bottle: watch whether the bottle wall turns cloudy, softens or deforms, and whether the contents change scent.

The bottle is made of PET, and the cap combines polypropylene and aluminium. The bottle has a standard 24/410 neck.
