FAQ – Most frequent questions

Can this bottle be used repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging is completely dry is it appropriate to proceed with refilling it.

How should the spray pump be cleaned correctly so that it does not clog and remains functional?

After emptying the bottle, we recommend disassembling the spray pump into the accessible parts, rinsing them with warm (not boiling) water and then briefly spraying clean water through to flush the internal capillary. For thicker or more compositionally demanding formulations, it is then appropriate to carry out disinfection with alcohol, allow the components to dry thoroughly and only then assemble them again. This prevents clogging, uneven spraying and shortening of the mechanism’s service life.

Thanks to this, you can easily display only those packages that meet your technical and visual requirements and more easily find the optimal combination with a closure or dispenser.

Is this plastic packaging suitable for the dishwasher or for boiling?

Plastic packaging of this type is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures, therefore we do not recommend washing it in the dishwasher or boiling it. When in contact with excessively hot water or steam, the bottle may deform, the sealing may deteriorate and the functionality of the spray pump may be affected. For cleaning it is suitable to use lukewarm water, a mild cleaning agent and subsequent disinfection with alcohol as needed.

How can I dispose of or recycle this packaging in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, placing it in sorted waste according to the type of plastic stated in the product parameters. The packaging must be freed of any product residues and, where possible, the individual parts (bottle body, spray pump, possibly cap) should be separated. Then dispose of them in the appropriate container according to local recycling rules. In this way you support efficient material recovery and reduce the amount of municipal waste.
