White Plastic Bottle, Black Spray with Glossy Silver Collar, 150 ml

The white plastic bottle with a mini trigger sprayer is used for filling and dispensing liquid cosmetic products that are applied by spraying: toners, hydrosols, face and hair mists or body sprays. The set comes assembled, consisting of a 150 ml bottle and a black sprayer with a glossy silver collar, so you do not need to look for a separate closure.

The opaque white wall of the bottle limits the amount of light reaching the contents, which you will appreciate especially with hydrosols, infusions and products with sensitive ingredients. The bottle is made of PET, is light and does not break if dropped in the bathroom or in a bag, so it also suits products that customers carry with them. The black sprayer with an aluminium collar gives the packaging a uniform look that works with both black-and-white and coloured labels.

What the set is suitable for

• Face toners and hydrosols – watery products applied directly to the face or to a cotton pad.
• Hair sprays and mists – leave-in conditioning sprays and refreshing mists for hair and scalp.
• Body and refreshing sprays – light water-alcohol mists with a lower alcohol content, fragranced sprays for body or textiles.
• Household sprays – water-based, low-viscosity solutions for freshening a room or linen.

The sprayer is built for thin, watery liquids. Thicker gels, emulsions and products with a higher oil content are dispensed poorly or not at all through the nozzle. With light oils, we recommend testing how the sprayer behaves beforehand.

Filling and volume

The nominal volume is the amount the bottle is designed for in normal filling. The total brimful volume is slightly larger, because space remains below the neck for the sprayer’s dip tube, for fitting the closure and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes. Therefore fill up to the nominal volume. If the bottle is filled to the brim, the contents may spill over the neck when the sprayer is screwed on.

After filling, tighten the sprayer firmly and pump the product several times until the tube and the pump fill and the dose is even. With each press the sprayer dispenses the same small amount, which makes it easier to estimate consumption, including in professional use.

Good to know

The set as a whole is declared suitable for contact with cosmetics. You will find the declaration of conformity with the product. Only the bottle on its own has a food-contact certificate; the sprayer does not have one, so the set is intended for cosmetic products.

Do not expose the bottle to aggressive chemicals and solvents. With concentrated essential oils and pure fragrance compositions, we recommend testing how the packaging behaves with the specific product before a larger production run; oil components may also clog the sprayer nozzle. The bottle is not intended for hot filling; let the product cool to room temperature before filling.

Both the bottle and the sprayer have a 24/410 neck finish. If you want to replace the sprayer with another closure, choose closures with the same neck type given in the parameters. Once emptied and rinsed, the PET bottle is recyclable. The sprayer combines plastic with an aluminium collar, so separate it from the bottle when disposing of it.
