Product description
White plastic bottle, white-silver dispenser, 300 ml
A ready-made combination of a white plastic bottle with a capacity of 300 ml and a dispenser (pump) in white-silver finish. Both parts fit together, no need to search for or test a cap. The dispenser delivers the contents with a single press without unscrewing, making the set especially suitable for liquid and semi-liquid products for everyday use – shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, liquid hand soaps or lighter creams. The PET bottle is light and unbreakable, so it holds up in the shower and on the go.
The set is intended for cosmetic products. Only the bottle has an individual food-contact certificate; the dispenser does not.
Key benefits
- Dispensing without opening – each press delivers the same dose, the product is used up evenly and hands do not come into contact with the bottle neck.
- Opaque white PET – the contents are not visible and significantly less light penetrates compared to a clear bottle, which helps with products containing vegetable oils, extracts or sensitive fragrance components.
- Light and unbreakable – the bottle is suitable for the shower, bathroom and travel, where glass would be a risk.
- Matching finish – the white bottle and white-silver dispenser look uniform and a custom label stands out well against the white surface.
- Proven 24/410 neck thread – the dispenser is matched to the bottle, compatibility is resolved in advance.
What the set is suitable for
A capacity of 300 ml with a dispenser is suitable for products that are used regularly and in smaller doses. In practice, these are mainly:
- Cleansing products – shower gels, shampoos, liquid hand and body soaps, intimate wash gels.
- Body care – body lotions, light balms and emulsions with a liquid to slightly thick consistency.
- Hair care – conditioners and rinse-off masks that are not too thick.
- Massage and body oils – if the formulation does not contain a high proportion of essential oils or solvents (see below).
With thick creams, butters or products with very high viscosity, the dispenser may not be able to draw up the contents reliably. In that case, a jar or bottle with a different type of closure is more suitable. We recommend testing how a specific formulation behaves with the dispenser on a small quantity before larger filling.
Nominal and total volume
Nominal volume is the volume the bottle is designed for at standard filling. Total volume to the brim is the physical volume up to the neck and is always slightly larger. The difference between them is a reserve for the dispenser tube, which takes up some space after screwing on, and for the expansion of the contents with temperature changes. The bottle should therefore be filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim – otherwise the contents will overflow when the dispenser is screwed on.
The dispenser tube length is adapted to this bottle and reaches almost to the bottom, so most of the contents can be dispensed. A small residue that the dispenser can no longer draw up is common with this type of closure.
Good to know
Preparation before first filling. We recommend washing both the bottle and dispenser before use, disinfecting with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and leaving to dry completely. Residual water in the packaging shortens the product's shelf life regardless of the preservation system.
First use of the dispenser. If the new dispenser is locked against pressing, it is unlocked by rotating the head. The first presses draw in air from the tube; the contents will start to come out after several strokes.
PET and essential oils, solvents. PET is a suitable material for standard aqueous, emulsion and oil-based formulations. However, with a high proportion of essential oils, citrus terpenes, alcohol or solvents, the plastic may become cloudy or soften over time. We recommend verifying the compatibility of such formulations on a sample over an extended period.
Filling temperature. PET is not designed for filling with hot contents. Emulsions and gels are filled only after cooling to room temperature, otherwise the bottle may deform.
Labelling. The white surface of the bottle is suitable for both paper and film labels. The bottle has a cylindrical shape, the label adheres straight without folds.
Recycling. The bottle is made of PET and belongs in plastics. The dispenser contains both plastic and aluminium, so unscrew it before recycling and sort it separately.
The set is not approved as a whole for food contact – only the bottle has the certificate. If you want to use the bottle for home-made oils, syrups or infusions, combine it with a closure that has documented food-contact suitability.
Closures with the same neck type and other ready-made packaging combinations can be found in the Handymade range. When combining the bottle with a different closure, we recommend verifying the seal, dispensing and the packaging's behaviour with the specific formulation.
