Plastic bottle with aluminium closure represents a practical and professional packaging solution suitable for filling a wide range of liquid and slightly viscous products. Thanks to the durable material and high‑quality screw closure, the contents are well protected against leakage and normal handling during storage and transport. This type of packaging is ideal for home‑made and artisanal products that require clean, aesthetic and reliable packaging.
The smooth surface of the bottle allows easy labelling with a sticker or label, and the metal closure gives the overall appearance a professional and premium impression. The compact shape of the bottle is suitable for cosmetic sets, gift packaging and travel kits, where the combination of design, functionality and secure closing of the contents is important.
Individual bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters for each product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – in particular regarding sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (pH, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed and compatibility with the filled product is taken into account. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection we recommend the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Only after complete drying and airing can the packaging be refilled.
The bottle should be washed with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, using a soft sponge or brush to avoid scratching the surface. It then needs to be thoroughly rinsed with clean water and allowed to dry completely. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or heavy mechanical cleaning that could damage the surface of the packaging or the seal in the closure. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the packaging with a suitable alcohol solution before new filling, and only then filling it with the final product.
Yes, the compact shape and screw aluminium closure make it a practical choice for travelling and for everyday carrying in a handbag or luggage. Before using it for travel, however, we recommend a trial filling and short‑term storage in different positions to check tightness with the specific product. During transport, it is advisable to place the bottle in a separate pocket or resealable bag, thereby minimising the risk of contaminating other items in case of incorrect closing.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend emptying it, rinsing out product residues and then sorting it according to the material specified in the parameter table for the product. The plastic body of the bottle generally belongs in the container for plastic waste sorting, and the metal cap (according to local rules) in the appropriate container for metals or in combined collection. Always follow the local waste sorting system and the material information specified in the product parameters on the Handymade website so that recycling is as effective as possible.
