The plastic body generally belongs in the plastic container and the metal cap in metal waste, unless local collection rules state otherwise. Before discarding, it is advisable to remove product residues to simplify recycling processing. For plastic packaging in general, we do not recommend exposure to high temperatures, long-term heating or boiling. Under excessive thermal load, the walls of the bottle may soften or deform, which negatively affects the sealing and usability of the container. For the same reason, it is not suitable to wash the bottle in a dishwasher at high temperatures and with aggressive programmes. For cleaning, we recommend hand washing in moderately warm water with a suitable detergent, thorough rinsing and subsequent disinfection according to the nature of the future contents.

Thanks to its darker colouring and solid cap, the bottle is particularly popular for oil-based and aromatic preparations, such as facial and body oils, hair serums, perfume concentrates or essential oils intended for cosmetic or technical use. The container protects more sensitive formulations well from normal light during storage and helps reduce undesirable oxidation or volatility of volatile components. However, suitability for a specific recipe must always be verified by your own stability test under real conditions of use.
