What should I watch out for when filling thicker oil-based or viscous products?

For thicker oils and viscous solutions it is important to verify whether the dropper provides smooth and even dosing. We recommend performing a trial filling with a small amount of product and testing the dripping speed also with repeated use. If you have a very thick formulation, it may be appropriate to adjust the recipe (for example the ratio of oils) or to choose another type of applicator within the packaging portfolio on Handymade.

How to correctly recycle the glass bottle and plastic cap if I do not want to use them repeatedly?

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material marking in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be placed, in a clean state, in the glass container. The plastic cap with dropper needs to be separated and sorted according to the respective type of plastic given in the parameter table. Before recycling we recommend removing product residues and labels from the packaging in accordance with local waste sorting rules.
