Glass is a material with high chemical resistance that usually does not react with emulsions, hydrolysates or vegetable oils. However, for formulas with a high content of essential oils or alcohol, we recommend making a test sample and monitoring the behavior of the packaging and the closure over time.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly for different products?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles and proper care are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to carefully clean the bottle and the closure and then disinfect them, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. Only after complete drying and airing is the packaging ready for new filling.

How should I correctly test the compatibility of my formulation with this packaging?

We recommend preparing a smaller test quantity of the product, filling one bottle with it and closing it thoroughly. Then monitor the tightness of the closure, changes in the appearance of the glass or the cap and the behavior of the product during normal use (turning, transport, storage).
