Black Plastic Container, Black Lid, 1 l

Black plastic container with black lid, 1 l is a complete wide-neck packaging set consisting of a black PET container, a black polypropylene lid and an induction seal liner made of aluminium. The opaque black plastic protects the contents from light, and the container is lightweight and does not break if dropped. The wide neck makes it easy to fill with thick mixtures and to scoop out the contents with a spatula, so the set is suitable for body butters, scrubs, bath salts, masks or larger packs of creams. The whole set, including the liner, is approved for direct food contact and declared as suitable for cosmetic products.

What the container is suitable for

• Body butters and balms – the wide neck allows comfortable scooping even with a firmer consistency.
• Scrubs and bath salts – the 1 l volume is large enough even for a family-size pack, and the black packaging also protects the essential oils and colorants in the mixture from light.
• Hair and face masks – the container is easy to fill with mixtures that cannot be squeezed out of a bottle or dispensed through a pump.
• Creams and pastes in larger packs – for workshops and small businesses that need bulk packaging for their own repackaging.
• Food – the set is certified for direct food contact, so it is also suitable for homemade nut butters, honey, dried herbs or spice blends.

Lid and induction seal liner

The lid with a 100/400 neck finish screws directly onto the neck of the container and closes it without any additional parts. The aluminium induction seal liner is placed inside the lid and is used to seal the neck. After the lid is screwed on, the packaging passes through an induction device, which heats the aluminium layer so that the foil sticks to the rim of the neck. The customer can therefore see immediately that the packaging has not been opened.

After the first opening, the foil is peeled off and thrown away. The lid then closes the container in the usual way, and no sealing is needed when it is opened repeatedly. Volume and filling

The nominal volume of the container is the volume stated in the name and corresponds to normal filling. This leaves space below the neck for the lid, the liner and slight expansion of the contents. The brimful capacity is the physical volume up to the neck and is always slightly larger. Fill the container up to the nominal volume, not to the brim.

Good to know

Before the first filling, wash both the container and the lid, disinfect them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and let them dry completely. Do not wash the induction seal liner; it is inserted dry and is single-use.

The container and the lid can be reused. After washing and disinfection, they are suitable for another pack of the same type of product. The packaging should not be exposed to aggressive chemicals. For products with a high proportion of essential oils or solvents, or for strongly acidic or alkaline mixtures, we therefore recommend checking compatibility with the plastic in a test pack.
