Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the contents. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for cosmetic use, available in the Handymade range. After cleaning, allow the bottle and the dropper to dry completely at room temperature and only then fill it with the new product.

First remove any residues of the original product and rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent or with warm water and a mild detergent. We then recommend disinfecting the surface and the interior of the packaging with an alcohol solution, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol, which you will find in the Handymade assortment. After disinfection, allow the glass part and the dropper to drain and dry completely at room temperature on a clean, non-linting surface. Fill the packaging only when it is completely dry so that the stability of the prepared product is not compromised.

The glass bottle is generally suitable for most oil-based and water-based preparations, such as facial oils, serums, toners or concentrated blends containing active ingredients. However, before serial filling we recommend performing a trial compatibility test – fill a smaller amount of the product and observe for several days the behaviour of the dropper, the seal and the packaging itself in contact with your formulation. In this way you will verify that dosing is smooth, the closure seals well and the material is suitable for the given type of preparation.

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend that after emptying it and carrying out basic cleaning, you place it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass body of the packaging is generally placed in the container intended for glass, while the plastic or rubber parts of the dropper should be separated and disposed of in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. Before handing it over for collection, remove any product residues to facilitate the recycling process and reduce the burden on the environment.
