Glass bottle with green glass and white dropper is a practical packaging suitable for precise dosing of liquid products. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the dropper with fine dosing, it is ideal for filling formulations where control of the amount during application is important. The coloured glass helps reduce light penetration to the contents, which supports the stability of sensitive ingredients and contributes to a longer shelf life of the product.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the specific product. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – especially of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, pH, alcohol content or oil phase).

The glass bottle is generally suitable for most formulations containing essential oils, since glass is a material with good chemical resistance. However, we always recommend testing the specific blend (especially with a high concentration of essential oils or the presence of strong extracts) in order to verify the behaviour of the dropper, the sealing and the long-term stability of the product in the packaging.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol from the product IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or plant ethanol from the product Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Only after it is completely dry is the packaging ready for further filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material specified in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade website. The glass part of the bottle can usually be sorted into the container designated for glass after removing product residues and loosening the closure. The dropper and any plastic or rubber components should be sorted according to their material (e.g. plastic or composite materials), always in accordance with local waste separation and the recommendations in the product parameters.
When filling, make sure that the packaging is clean, dry and disinfected, and that the filling temperature corresponds to the type of formulation. Do not exceed the recommended filling level so that there is space for the dropper and correct closure. Store finished products ideally in a dry, cooler and shaded place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, which helps maintain the stability of the active substances and of the packaging itself.
