Is this plastic bottle suitable for repeated use?

The bottle can be used repeatedly if you follow basic hygiene principles and take into account the nature of the filled formulation. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and disinfect it, ideally using a suitable alcohol (for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol). For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 isopropyl alcohol 1 l or ethanol 96 denatured plant-based 1 l. After cleaning and drying the packaging and the spray pump, we recommend a trial filling to verify the functionality of the mechanism and the stability of your formulation.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the bottle before further use?

First completely empty the bottle and the spray pump, then rinse them with lukewarm water and a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly with clean water. After drying, disinfect the internal surfaces with high-proof alcohol – suitable products include for example IPA 99 isopropyl alcohol 1 l or ethanol 96 denatured plant-based 1 l. Leave the alcohol in the bottle to act briefly and then let the packaging dry completely at room temperature. Only then fill with a new product, ideally first in a smaller test quantity.

How can I dispose of or recycle this bottle in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer want to use it?

If you do not plan to use the packaging repeatedly, we recommend first emptying it completely and removing any coarse product residues.
