Plastic bottle with pump represents a practical and hygienic solution for dispensing various liquid cosmetic products. Thanks to the integrated dispenser, it enables comfortable and controlled application of the product without the need for direct contact with the contents, which helps protect it from contamination and deterioration. This type of packaging is popular in the production of both homemade and professional formulations, where cleanliness, comfort and more precise dosing are important.
The packaging is designed to withstand common cosmetic ingredients such as emulsions, gels or liquid creams. In combination with a properly selected dispensing mechanism, it provides reliable protection of the contents during storage and everyday use. It is particularly suitable for products where you want to minimise finger contact with the contents, reduce the risk of introducing impurities and at the same time achieve a representative appearance of the final product.
This bottle is supplied with a matching pump, which ensures comfortable and controlled dosing of the product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with your particular formulation, so that you can be sure of long‑term reliable use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if correct hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new product. For disinfection, we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for these purposes, which you can find in our range as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After treatment, it is necessary to let the packaging and the dosing pump dry completely and only then refill them.
The pump should be cleaned gently, without using coarse mechanical tools that could damage its functional parts. It is recommended to pump a small amount of a suitable cleaning or disinfecting solution through it and then pump clean water several times to remove residues of the solution. When disinfecting with alcohol, it is important to allow all parts to dry freely at room temperature after rinsing. Do not use extreme temperatures or boiling, which could negatively affect the elasticity of seals or the function of the spring.
Plastic packaging of this type is generally not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. Excessive heating can cause deformation of the walls, deterioration of the tightness of the joint between the neck and the pump, or affect the function of the dosing mechanism. For this reason, it is not recommended to wash either the bottle or the pump in a dishwasher or to boil them. For cleaning, it is advisable to use moderately warm water, a mild cleaning agent and subsequent disinfection with the recommended alcohol‑based products, and it is important always to dry the packaging thoroughly after washing.
If you decide not to use the bottle and pump any further, we recommend recycling them according to the type of material indicated in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website. First, it is advisable to empty the packaging and remove as much of the remaining product as possible. Then separate the packaging into individual parts (bottle body, pump, any protective cap) and dispose of each part in the appropriate sorted‑waste container according to the material marking. If anything is unclear, follow the local waste‑sorting rules in your municipality or city to ensure the most efficient possible recovery of the packaging material.
To select a suitable bottle, vial or jar, you can use the extended filter located in the upper part of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can adjust the display according to the parameters that are most important for your project – for example the type and size of the neck, the overall size or volume of the packaging, the colour or the material used. In this way you quickly narrow the offer down to packaging that is compatible with your planned closures and dispensers and at the same time meets your design and functional requirements.
