Product description

Plastic bottle, white, with white pump, 200 ml is a ready-to-use set for dispensing liquid and cream products intended for everyday use. The white PET bottle is opaque, protecting the contents from light, while also being lightweight and unbreakable. The dispensing pump delivers the contents in small doses without unscrewing, limiting the product's contact with air and fingers. The set is particularly suitable for liquid soaps, lotions, light creams and shower gels, and both parts are approved for direct food contact.

What the set is suitable for

The bottle with pump is practical wherever the product is dispensed frequently and in smaller amounts. The 200 ml volume is suitable for products consumed within a few weeks to months.

Liquid soap and shower gel – the pump dispenses exactly the amount needed for one wash, and the bottle remains closed.
Body lotion and light creams – suitable for emulsions that can be pushed through the pump; for thick creams and butters, a jar or pot is a better choice.
Micellar water, tonics and cleansing products – water-based products dispense easily, the dose falls directly onto the palm or a cotton pad.
Massage and body oils – the opaque wall reduces light exposure, which benefits the stability of oils, extracts and fragrances sensitive to light, and the pump prevents spills.
Food use – the set has food-contact certification, making it suitable for homemade flavouring oils, syrups or liquid dressings.

How dispensing works

The pump draws the contents through a dip tube from the bottom of the bottle and delivers one dose per press, approximately 1 ml. On first use, the pump needs to be pressed several times until the tube fills. Dispensing is reliable for liquid to medium-viscosity products. A thick emulsion or gel-textured product may be drawn slowly or not at all.

Before filling an entire batch, we recommend testing the pump with a small amount of the finished formulation. This will confirm whether the product is drawn at the given viscosity, whether the dose does not spray, and whether the pump does not drip after use.

Since the tube draws from the bottom, the remaining contents below its end may not be dispensable. For thicker products, it is therefore worth unscrewing the pump before the last few doses and pouring out the remainder.

Nominal and total volume

Nominal volume is the volume for which the container is designed for normal filling. Total volume to the brim is the physical volume of the bottle up to the neck and is slightly larger. The difference provides a reserve for the dip tube and pump body, which displace part of the volume when screwed on, and for the expansion of the contents when the temperature changes. The bottle is filled to the nominal volume, not to the brim. If filled to the neck, the contents would overflow once the pump is attached.

What is good to know

Preparation before first filling. We recommend washing the bottle and pump, sanitising them with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol and allowing them to dry completely. It is advisable to flush the pump with several presses of clean water or alcohol and then empty it.

Reuse. The set can be used repeatedly. The pump is rinsed with warm water and a small amount of cleaning agent, then with clean water, and left to dry. Residues of the old product in the tube can affect the new fill, so do not skip rinsing.

Material resistance. PET handles water-based products, emulsions, vegetable oils and common alcohol solutions well. For products with a high proportion of essential oils or containing solvents, we recommend verifying the container's behaviour with the specific formulation, especially during longer storage.

The PET bottle is not intended for hot filling. Allow the product to cool to room temperature before filling, otherwise the wall may deform and the container will lose its shape.

Labelling. The cylindrical wall of the bottle is suitable for a wrap-around label.

Suitability for cosmetics and food. Both the bottle and pump are declared suitable for contact with cosmetic products and both parts have certification for direct food contact. Declarations of conformity are available with the product.

Recycling. The bottle is made of PET, the pump of PP. Before disposal, we recommend unscrewing the pump from the bottle so that both parts can be sorted separately.

Other closures. The bottle has a 24/410 neck finish. Closures with the same neck type and other ready-made bottle + closure combinations can be found in the Handymade range. For a custom combination, we recommend verifying the seal and the container's behaviour with the specific formulation.

Frequently asked questions

Is the 200 ml plastic bottle with pump suitable for liquid soap?

Yes, the set is designed specifically for liquid soap, shower gels and similar liquid products. The pump delivers a small dose per press, so the product is dispensed economically and the bottle remains closed. For thicker gel textures, we recommend checking in advance that the product is drawn without problems.

Can cream be dispensed with the pump?

Partially, it depends on the viscosity. Light creams and body lotions with a more fluid consistency dispense without problems. Thick creams, butters and anhydrous balms will not be drawn by the pump, or only slowly and unevenly. For such products, a jar or pot is more suitable.

Does the white PET bottle protect the contents from light?

Yes, the white bottle wall is opaque and protects the contents from light. It is therefore suitable for oils, emulsions with extracts and products with fragrances that lose stability in light. The downside is that the remaining amount of contents is not visible. If light is not an issue for the product in question, a transparent bottle can be chosen.

Why must the bottle not be filled to the brim?

Because the contents would overflow once the pump is attached. The dip tube and pump body take up part of the internal volume when screwed on, and the contents expand slightly with temperature changes. The bottle is therefore filled to the nominal volume of 200 ml. The total volume to the brim is larger and serves as a reserve.

Is the set suitable for oils and food as well?

Yes, both the bottle and pump have food-contact certification. The set can be used for flavouring oils, syrups or liquid dressings, as well as for cosmetic massage and body oils. Before first use, the container should be washed and allowed to dry. When alternating between food and cosmetic contents, we recommend using separate bottles.

How is the pump cleaned for reuse?

The pump is cleaned by rinsing with warm water and a small amount of cleaning agent, then with clean water, and finally with several presses while empty to drain the tube. All parts must be allowed to dry completely before the next filling. If an oil-based product remains in the tube, rinsing with ethanol or isopropyl alcohol helps.
