The transparent plastic bottle with dispensing cap is a universal packaging solution suitable for modern liquid and gel formulations. The transparent material allows visual control of the contents, which is practical both for dosing and for presenting the finished product to the customer. Thanks to the combination of a reliable bottle and a functional dispenser, this packaging is ideal for products where precise and hygienic application is important.
The packaging is designed to provide good stability and protection of more sensitive components against external influences, with correct storage and a suitably chosen formulation. It is suitable for cosmetic preparations that require controlled dosing – from facial products through to body and hair care.
The separate plastic bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of caps and dosing methods, such as screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators – according to the parameters selected for the specific product. Combinations of packaging and caps that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to verify the suitability of the solution for your particular product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly, provided that you follow basic hygiene principles and monitor its overall condition (mechanical damage, wear of the thread or dispenser). Before each refilling, the bottle and the dispensing part must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example with isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and improves the stability of your formulations. It also holds that plastic packaging is not intended for an unlimited number of cycles – in case of visible wear we recommend removing the packaging from use and recycling it.
We recommend washing the bottle with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, without aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive sponges that could scratch the surface. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, so do not wash the packaging in a dishwasher or boil it, as deformation may occur. After washing, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly at room temperature, and only then carry out disinfection and filling. Do not store it for long periods near sources of heat or in direct sunlight.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend including it in sorted waste collection according to the material indicated in the parameter table for the given product on the Handymade website. Before handing it over for recycling, it is advisable to rinse the bottle to remove residue and, where possible, to separate the plastic packaging and any additional components (such as the dispenser or cap) if they are made from a different type of plastic. In this way, you support more efficient waste processing and a reduction of environmental impact.
The plastic bottle with dispensing cap is ideal for light to medium-viscosity formulations that require controlled and hygienic application. In practice, these include facial toners, hydrating and treatment emulsions, body lotions, hair serums, regenerating treatments or products for hand and nail care. With very thick creams, dosing may be limited, so it is always advisable to test the behaviour of the specific recipe in this type of packaging first.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can quickly narrow down the offer according to key parameters – specifically neck type, size, colour and material. This way you choose packaging that will technically and visually suit your product and at the same time be compatible with the available caps, pumps or sprayers.
When filling this plastic bottle, it is important to work with a cooled or only slightly warm mixture. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, so do not fill the packaging with hot or freshly melted bases, oils or emulsions. High temperature may lead to partial deformation of the packaging, deterioration of thread sealing or reduction of mechanical stability. We recommend always waiting until the formulation reaches a safe filling temperature according to the recommendations for the given type of plastic.
