FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is it possible to use this plastic bottle repeatedly?

The bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, but careful preparation is recommended before each refilling. Before reuse, the container must be thoroughly cleaned, residues of the original product removed, and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Only then is the container suitable for another safe filling with a new formulation.

How should I handle the PET plastic bottle in terms of temperature and cleaning?

The PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, therefore it is not recommended to use very hot fills or to leave the bottle near heat sources or in direct sunlight in an enclosed space. At excessive temperatures, there is a risk of deformation of the container, which can affect the tightness and functionality of the closure. The bottle is not suitable for dishwashers or boiling; hand cleaning with lukewarm water and a mild detergent is recommended, followed by disinfection with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation.

How should I fill this bottle correctly to minimise the risk of product contamination?

Before filling, we recommend working in a clean environment, using disinfected tools and preparing the container by cleaning and disinfection. After thoroughly drying the bottle, fill it with the product at an appropriate temperature to prevent damage to the PET material. After filling, tighten the closure firmly, check the tightness and briefly turn the bottle upside down to verify that there is no product leakage around the neck or closure.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this plastic bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the container, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. After emptying, rinse the bottle as thoroughly as possible, remove any remaining contents and check the recycling symbol. Then dispose of it in the collection bin intended for that type of plastic according to the local waste sorting system. Following these rules helps to reduce the amount of waste and ensures that the packaging material can be processed again.
