Vitamin E – tocopheryl acetate is a stable form of vitamin E suitable for the preparation of cosmetic formulations, where it serves as a functional active ingredient as well as support for the stability of the oil phase. It is ideal for filling into smaller cosmetic containers, such as bottles, vials, jars or practical dispensing containers, where precise and hygienic dosing is required. Thanks to its consistency, it combines well with vegetable oils, butters and emulsions and is suitable for the care of the skin of the body, face and delicate areas.
Separate bottles, vials and other containers intended for filling vitamin E – tocopheryl acetate are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters of the specific package. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the package in contact with the specific formulation).

Tocopheryl acetate should be filled into clean and dry containers using a pipette, measuring spoon or syringe in order to minimize contamination and loss of the raw material. It is recommended to work at room temperature and avoid excessive heating. When choosing a bottle or jar, select packaging that is intended for oily or lipidic formulations and always check that the closure is properly tightened to prevent leakage or deterioration of the contents.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene rules are observed, especially if it is a high-quality bottle, vial or jar intended for cosmetic raw materials. However, before each refilling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol ethanol 96 % denatured. Only after the disinfectant has completely dried is it appropriate to refill the container with tocopheryl acetate or the finished cosmetic formulation.
Packaging filled with vitamin E should be stored in a dry and cooler place, protected from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Bottles and jars should always be carefully closed to minimize contact with air and moisture. If you use several smaller containers instead of one large package, you can better control the freshness of the contents as the raw material is gradually used up.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material indicated in the parameter table for the specific product on Handymade.sk. Before disposal, remove product residues, rinse the container and separate the individual parts (for example the bottle, closure, any applicator) according to the type of material. Then sort them into the appropriate containers according to local recycling rules. In this way, you reduce the amount of waste and support a responsible approach to packaging materials.
