Can this aluminium jar be used repeatedly?

Yes, the jar can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant ethanol. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and extends the safety of product use.

For which type of cosmetics is this jar most suitable?

The aluminium jar is ideal for solid and semi-solid products such as lip balms, body butters, ointments, solid perfume, waxes or smaller portions of creams. Thanks to the sturdy lid it is also suitable for travel-size packs and samples where secure closure and compact packaging design are important.

How should the jar be properly cleaned and prepared before first use?

Before the first and every repeated filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the jar (rinsing, degreasing according to the type of formulation) and then disinfecting it with an alcohol-based preparation. In practice, rinsing or spraying with isopropyl alcohol or plant ethanol has proven effective; it is important to allow all parts to dry completely before filling so that the stability and fragrance of the product are not affected.

How should this aluminium packaging be correctly recycled if I no longer wish to use it?

If you decide not to use the jar any further, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, placing it in sorted collection according to the recommendations given in the product parameters. Aluminium is normally recycled in containers intended for metal packaging. Before disposal, remove any product residues to facilitate the recycling process and minimise contamination of other sorted waste.
