Is this plastic bottle with sprayer suitable for repeated use?

The packaging can be reused if handled appropriately; however, we recommend always using it only for compatible types of formulations. Before each refilling it is essential to carefully clean the bottle and the sprayer and then disinfect them to minimize microbiological risk. For disinfection we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol from the Handymade range: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Perform disinfection in accordance with the recommendations for working with alcohols and allow the packaging to dry thoroughly before filling.

How should the plastic bottle and sprayer be properly cleaned before further use?

First dismantle the packaging (bottle and sprayer head), thoroughly rinse out any residues of the previous fill and wash them in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Then rinse several times with clean water so that no detergent residues remain in the container or in the sprayer tube. After washing, we recommend disinfecting with alcohol the inner surface of the packaging and the dosing parts (for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based) and allowing them to dry completely. Avoid using very hot water, aggressive cleaners and mechanical scrubbing, which could damage the plastic surface.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle the plastic packaging if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material designation given in the product parameters. First, completely empty the bottle and sprayer, dispose of any remaining liquid in accordance with the nature of the product used, and rinse the packaging. Then place the plastic packaging in the appropriate container for separated waste collection according to local rules (for example a plastic container for packaging marked PET or another appropriate symbol). For combined packaging (bottle + mechanical sprayer) it is ideal to separate the individual parts according to material, where possible. This supports efficient processing in the recycling process.

Is the plastic bottle with sprayer suitable for transport and storage of liquids in cosmetic production?

The bottle with sprayer is suitable for packaging and standard storage of finished liquid products, for example in small batches of artisan or home production. Before implementing it in production, we recommend carrying out your own stability test – verifying sealing during transport, the behavior of the packaging at different storage temperatures and compatibility with the specific formulation (especially for products with a higher proportion of alcohol, essential oils or active substances). The mechanical sprayer is intended for application of liquids with low to medium viscosity; very thick preparations may affect the quality of spraying.
