The plastic bottle with sprayer represents a practical and aesthetic solution for packaging various liquid preparations, especially where convenient and even dosing by means of a fine mist is important. It is suitable for everyday use in cosmetics, in the household or in professional formulations where you need a reliable, lightweight and durable container. Thanks to the combination of a high‑quality plastic body and a functional sprayer, it provides application comfort, good protection of the contents and clean handling without unnecessary contact with the skin.
The container can be reused if handled correctly and treated gently, always with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend cleaning the bottle and the sprayer and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol‑based agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol (e.g. the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based). After thorough drying you can refill the container; when changing the type of product it is also advisable to carry out a sensory cleanliness test (no residual odour or colour).
First rinse the container mechanically with a suitable cleaning agent or with warm water and a mild detergent (according to compatibility with the material and the residual product). Then it is advisable to carry out disinfection using an alcohol solution; you can also use technical alcohol from the Handymade range – for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. Pay attention to the flow through the sprayer itself as well: spray part of the disinfecting solution so that the inner capillary is cleaned. After disinfection, let all parts dry thoroughly at room temperature away from direct heat.
When selecting suitable packaging, we recommend using the extended filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, jars, vials or pumps) you will find the option in the top part of the page to filter according to several parameters. You can narrow down the packaging by neck type, overall size, colour and material, which greatly facilitates finding a suitable combination of container and closure for your specific product. You can combine the filters and adjust them at any time according to the current needs of your project.
The spray packaging is most suitable for low‑viscosity liquids that are to be applied in the form of a fine spray or mist. These are mainly aqueous solutions, hydrolats, toners, light facial and body sprays, perfumed and refreshing blends and cleaning solutions. For thicker or oil‑based preparations we always recommend doing a trial filling to check whether the flow through the nozzle is sufficient and whether the dosing corresponds to the desired effect.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the information given in the product parameters and on the recycling label directly on the packaging. First remove as much of the product residue as possible (by rinsing or wiping) and then separate the individual parts of the packaging according to material type (bottle body, sprayer mechanism, possible overcap). Then place each part in the appropriate sorted waste stream according to local collection and recycling rules. By following these principles, you minimise environmental impact and support efficient processing of used packaging.
