You can enjoy juniper essential oil not only from the fruits, but also from the wood of this plant. Juniper essential oil is used for detoxification, as it significantly supports excretion. In addition, it finds use in stimulating blood circulation, it supports sweating and, overall, the activity of the internal organs. In facial preparations, it is suitable for problematic and acne-prone skin.
Try, for example, a rinse-off facial toner containing juniper wood essential oil, or use this oil as a component of other rinse-off facial cleansing products (facial gels, soaps and similar).
To improve circulation in the extremities, you can mix a few drops of the oil with a carrier oil and use it for massage or in balms for tired and cold feet. It is also suitable for baths or for an aroma lamp in case of respiratory tract problems or a blocked nose.
All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. When handling, use appropriate protective equipment.
WHAT ARE ESSENTIAL OILS?
Essential oils, also called ethereal oils, are natural aromatic substances that come from various parts of plants – trunks, roots, seeds, flowers, leaves, etc. They give plants their characteristic fragrance and, in addition, they also have healing and protective effects. They act very positively on symptoms on the physical, emotional and mental levels.
Their chemical composition is quite complicated. The essences are obtained from plants most often by distillation, extraction or pressing. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are used directly on the skin only after dilution with carrier vegetable oils (almond, apricot kernel, jojoba and similar). The only exception is tea tree and lavender essential oil, which you can apply directly.
Use essential oils for inhalation or in your cosmetic products; we do not recommend consumption of any essential oils of any brands.
Essential oils are fat-soluble, therefore if you want to use them in products without oils and butters, use a solvent /solubilizer/.
HOW WILL I USE ESSENTIAL OIL?
Cosmetic and soap making – the required amount of essential oil depends on the specific formula and the quantity produced. Inhalation, steaming – drop a few drops of essential oil into an aroma lamp, diffuser, or a container with hot water.Bath – disperse the drops of oil in a base oil /coconut, olive.../, in 1 dl of milk or in a teaspoon of honey, pour this mixture into the bathtub. Essential oils on their own are not soluble in water; the drops would float on the surface.Massage – add a few drops of essential oil to a cold-pressed vegetable oil (approx. 50 ml) and mix well. A pleasant massage.Sauna – you can choose from conifers, rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, mint or citrus fragrances. The amount of drops depends on the size of the sauna and your preference.
Essential oils are also popular for use in skin care, local compresses, hair masks, in oral hygiene care...
