The glass bottle with nasal spray is a practical and hygienic packaging for filling liquid formulations intended for application into the nose. Thanks to its precise spray mechanism, it is suitable for products where gentle and even dosing directly into the nasal cavity is required.
The packaging is designed to allow comfortable, repeatable use while helping to protect the consistency and stability of the filled formula. The smooth inner surface of the glass makes both filling and emptying easier and, with proper storage, supports the long-term preservation of the quality of the contents.
This bottle is supplied with a functional nasal sprayer, and combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – particularly regarding sealing, dosing, spray uniformity, and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, presence of salts, essential oils, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed, especially for your own formulations or when refilling the same type of product. However, before each new filling, it is necessary to clean and disinfect the packaging thoroughly in order to reduce the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection, we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the offer as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After rinsing and drying, the bottle can be filled again.
It is advisable to first rinse the glass part with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, then rinse thoroughly with clean water, and finally disinfect with a suitable alcohol (for example with preparations available on the website such as IPA or ethanol). After disinfection, allow the bottle to dry completely. For the sprayer, we recommend gentler handling: rinsing with water, possibly briefly spraying a small amount of alcohol through it, and thorough drying. For mechanisms with narrow channels, it is important to verify that they have not remained clogged and that the spraying remains even.
The nasal spray is most suitable for watery solutions with low viscosity, such as physiological and mildly mineralized solutions, hydrosols, or special nasal preparations intended for moisturizing or supporting the patency of the nose. Thick gels or oil blends may affect the functionality of the sprayer, so for new formulations it is important to perform an application test – to check aerosol formation, dose uniformity, and comfort in use.
To select a suitable bottle, vial, or jar, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter, you can adjust the selection according to parameters such as neck type, overall size, color, or packaging material. In this way, you can quickly narrow the offer down to packaging that meets the needs of your product – whether it is cosmetics, technical solutions, or specific application bottles with a spray.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle and the sprayer, we recommend, after emptying and rinsing off product residues, to recycle them according to the material type specified in the product parameters. In most separate collection systems, the glass container can be placed in the glass recycling bin (according to local rules separated into colored and clear glass). The plastic parts of the nasal spray belong in plastic waste, or in mixed waste if local regulations do not allow more detailed sorting of specific components. Before placing them in separate collection, we recommend rinsing the packaging and removing coarse impurities to facilitate their subsequent processing in the recycling process.
