Product description

The solid dye is intended exclusively for candles and scented wax melts. It is a medium composed of stearic acid, soy wax, coconut wax and a blend of pigments. It can be used in all vegetable waxes that we offer.

The dyes are mutually miscible - they allow you to create your own shades.

Solid dyes do not migrate in waxes – this means that the colours will not mix with each other in your candles.

Recommended dosage: 5 – 10 % for colouring, 10 – 15 % for dipping

The amount of dye used depends on the desired colour intensity. Rather start with a smaller amount and slowly add more.
In the event that you add an excessive amount of dye to the candle, the wick may become clogged. Make sure that you have thoroughly dispersed the dye; in this way you will prevent colour spots in the candles. When colouring candles with dyes, it is suitable to use a stronger wick. 

When handling, use appropriate protective equipment.
