The soap base ZENISOAPBASE is used for the production of soaps and soap bouquets.

It has a plant-based base and the resulting soap has excellent foaming properties and, thanks to the high glycerin content, it also excellently moisturizes the skin. It is a transparent base that is also more suitable for more demanding projects. During longer standing there is no loss of volume of the soap castings (important especially when creating bouquets). The soap base is free from animal fats and oils – 100% vegan.

The soap base, ZENISOAPBASE MAXI Olive Clear is a highly transparent soap base without SLS, containing saponified extra virgin olive oil. Suitable for the production of clear, elegant soaps with rich foam and a gentle effect on the skin.

When coloring the base with ZENICOLOR colorants, we recommend mixing 70% of the transparent base CLEAR and 30% of the white base WHITE in order to avoid excessive consumption of colorants.

Melting temperature: 65 °C
When heating, do not exceed the temperature of 75 °C!

Working with the soap base is not demanding at all. Just cut the required amount of soap base into smaller pieces, which will speed up the melting phase of the base. Slowly heat the base in a water bath or in a microwave. Be careful, the base must not boil, so heat it slowly. Into the melted base you can add a few drops of essential or fragrance oil, a liquid or powder colorant and, for variety, dried herbs.

Stir slowly so that unnecessary air bubbles are not created, which would form holes after solidification. Pour the soap base into the prepared mold. Immediately after pouring, we recommend applying with a sprayer a few sprays of a bubble remover – this is 99% isopropanol. The final step is to let it solidify. After unmolding, you can use the soap immediately, but we recommend letting the base rest for about 2 weeks for better properties.
