Epsom salt is also known as bitter salt or magnesium sulfate (heptahydrate - MgSO4 x 7H2O). It is composed of the minerals magnesium and sulfate, which are easily absorbed through the skin, therefore this salt is used in cosmetics mainly for baths.

A bath in Epsom salt helps relax the nervous system, supports the treatment of skin problems, soothes back and limb pain and releases muscle tension. Among other things, Epsom salt also helps the elimination of harmful substances and a bath in it is beneficial also for heart problems (it reduces irregular heart rhythm, prevents hardening of the arteries, reduces blood clots and blood pressure). You can use it also in scrubs.

Our Epsom salt has FCC quality (Food Chemical Codex), thus meeting strict criteria for use in the food industry. To maintain food-grade quality, we recommend ordering the whole package, i.e. 25 kg, because the product is repackaged in a non-food facility.

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, unsuitable for internal use. When handling, use appropriate protective equipment.
