The plastic bottle with glossy surface and disc-top closure represents an elegant and practical packaging suitable for modern cosmetic formulations. Thanks to the carefully selected material and type of closure, it is ideal for packaging various liquid preparations that require controlled dispensing without unnecessary contact with the contents. The packaging is designed to be comfortable for everyday use, to sit well in the hand and at the same time to look representative both on the shelf and in a bag.
The disc-top cap allows for easy opening and closing with one finger, which increases user comfort and reduces the risk of unintended leakage of the product. The opaque design provides additional protection for more sensitive formulations against light, which helps maintain their stability and appearance during storage and use. This type of bottle is especially popular for products where practical, hygienic and aesthetic packaging is important.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – especially of the sealing, the dispensing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, content of the oil phase, presence of acids or alcohol).

The packaging can be reused for normal home and craft use, provided that basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the closure and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after the inner surface has completely dried is the packaging ready for the next safe filling.
First we recommend thoroughly removing residues of the original product from the bottle by rinsing with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent. Then it is necessary to rinse the inner surface and the closure with clean water and allow them to drain. After mechanical cleaning, the step of disinfection is important – you can use for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based, with which you rinse or spray the interior and surface of the packaging. Before refilling, it is necessary to allow the alcohol to evaporate completely so that no excess moisture enters the new formulation.

In this filter you can narrow down the offer according to several parameters – in particular according to the type of neck, the overall size of the packaging, the colour and the material used. By combining these options you will quickly find bottles, pots or other containers that best suit the character of your product and the visual identity of your brand.
The disc-top closure is popular for liquid and medium-viscosity formulations where convenient and quick dispensing without unscrewing the cap is important. It is very suitable for body and facial lotions, hair tonics, shower gels, liquid soaps or lighter oily and emulsion preparations. It allows you to dispense a small amount of product directly into the palm of the hand or onto an application pad, which reduces the risk of contamination of the contents and at the same time keeps the area around the bottle neck cleaner than with classic screw caps.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend first emptying it and removing any product residues. The method of subsequent sorting is governed by the type of material, which is listed in the parameter table next to the product on the Handymade.sk website. Based on this information, you place the bottle and the closure in the appropriate container for sorted waste (for example plastic). If the individual parts are made of different materials, it is advisable to separate them before disposal. By following the recommendations given in the product parameters, you will contribute to correct recycling of the packaging and to reducing the amount of waste.
