The plastic bottle with a glossy surface and an elegant disc-top closure represents a practical and aesthetically clean packaging for various types of liquid cosmetic preparations. Thanks to the durable plastic material and the construction of the closure, the bottle is suitable for the safe dispensing of products that require controlled output and comfortable application during everyday use.
The disc-top cap allows convenient one-handed opening and closing and helps to limit unwanted leakage of the contents. The container is designed to be stable during storage and transport and to provide long-term, hygienic and visually attractive packaging for liquid formulations.
Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – focusing especially on sealing, the dosing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, oil content, active ingredients or preservative system).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
When filling, we recommend using a funnel or filling aid and not exceeding the recommended filling level specified in the product parameters. Fill the bottle slowly to minimise foaming and run-off down the walls of the neck. Before closing, check that the rim is clean and dry, then screw the disc-top cap on firmly and briefly invert the bottle to verify that the system seals according to the requirements of your formulation.
The packaging can be reused provided that basic hygiene principles and appropriate cleaning between individual refills are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the closure must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the disinfectant has completely dried and aired off is the packaging ready for a new filling.
For routine cleaning we recommend using lukewarm water with a mild cleaning agent and a soft brush or sponge to avoid scratching the surface. After washing, rinse the bottle and cap thoroughly with clean water and allow them to dry naturally in an upright position. Afterwards it is advisable to disinfect the packaging using the recommended disinfectant alcohols and, before re-use, let it dry and air completely so that no residual odour or moisture remains in the container.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend first emptying it completely and removing any remaining filling. The method of recycling the packaging must be adapted to the type of material specified in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website and you should follow local waste-sorting regulations. In most cases, a clean plastic package, after separating the bottle and the closure, is placed in the appropriate container for sorted plastic waste collection. If you are not sure about the classification, we recommend checking the specific instructions of your collection system or local authority.
